246. “Revolution 9” is a song by The Beatles that was written by John Lennon with contributions by Yoko Ono. It is a very experimental piece. In a Rolling Stone interview Lennon referred to it as, "an unconscious picture of what I actually think will happen when it happens; that was just like a drawing of revolution.” Using tape loops, fed them onto one basic track, Lennon was trying to create an atmosphere of a revolution in progress.”
