What mediums do you work in?

I work across a wide range of mediums, including digital art, oil painting, giclée prints, pigment prints, and screenprints throughout my collections.

The See What I Hear” collection includes limited edition, signed, archival prints. The “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” collection is a portfolio visualizing famous quotes. Each image is reproduced as a giclee print. “Setlist” includes a poster series highlighting different music genres. Each poster is a signed, limited-edition print. Available as screenprints and giclee prints.

Much of my inspiration comes from music. See the “Rock & Roll” series that includes posters, CD covers, and oil paintings. Robert also enjoys creating imagery for children. He has worked for several children’s publications and has illustrated seven children’s books for Peachtree Publishers. Robert’s children’s book agent is Abigail Samoun at Red Fox Literary.

Do you offer custom commissions?

Yes, I offer both editorial illustration and commissioned artwork for clients seeking personalized pieces. Projects may include children’s book illustrations, narrative images, or graphic works that combine type and image.

What themes or concepts appear most often in your artwork?

Many of my pieces are inspired by music, song lyrics, politics, animals, and humor. The images are often narrative, whether they’re part of a children’s book or visual interpretations of musical genres and lyrics. These recurring themes create artwork that resonates with music fans, art collectors, and children’s book publishers.

What types of artwork and products do you offer?

I offer prints, digital imaging, original paintings, illustrations, and commissioned artwork. My collections include everything from limited edition prints to editorial illustration projects. Whether you're looking for decorative contemporary art, custom figurative imagery, or children’s book illustration, there is a wide selection to explore.

Where else can I find your artwork?

My artwork is created for diverse environments, including art galleries, various publications, and children’s books. As a Richmond artist and Virginia illustrator, my work is shown locally at venues such as Artspace Gallery in Richmond, VA. Whether displayed in a gallery or printed in a book, each piece is designed to communicate a strong concept.
