Katmandu

71. “Katmandu” is a song by Bob Seger. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. During the ‘60s many rockers searching for enlightenment saw the city as the go to place. As I listened to Seger’s humorous look at the possibility of traveling to “K-K-K-Katmandu”, I imagined Bob and his bandmates having to schlep their instruments over the Himalayas to get to their destination.
