Bugs

217. “Bugs” is a song by singer/songwriter Jesse Wells. It’s a song about bugs and bug lovers, which apparently includes Jesse Welles. The song is a reminder of my first children’s book with author Leslie Bulion for Peachtree Publishers, Leaf Litter Critters (2018) about… This book was followed by Superlative Birds (2019) and included some birds that eat bugs, Amphibian Acrobates (2020) about real bug lovers, and Spi-Ku (2021) that focused on all sorts of eight-legged bug exterminators. Additionally, I’m finishing up my fifth book with the same team, Remarkable Partners (2026), about nature’s team players, including a few bugs.
