Acid Queen

18. The song “Acid Queen” by The Who was written by Pete Townsend as part of the Rock Opera, Tommy.  Tommy, an autistic child, who after witnessing a traumatic event, is told that he will never hear, speak, or see again. To heal the boy, Tommy is taken to meet the Acid Queen who claims that she can cure him by taking him on an amazing journey which is guaranteed to free his mind.
