Some Are More Equal Than others

“All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.”

George Orwell, Animal Farm

This quote from George Orwell’s “Animal Fram” is the last of the seven animal commandments. When the commandments were first presented to the farm animals after the revolution it simply stated that “All animals are equal” the amendment “but some animals are more equal than others” was later added by the pigs who assumed power – much like those who assimilate to power in totalitarian governments.
